LOVB Austin laid the groundwork for their 2025 post-season triumph at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park — and they will be looking to do the same when next term gets underway.
The Texans are set to play nine matches at the indoor arena across 2026. That’s five more than last year, in a welcome boost to local volleyball fans!
There’s also going to be one home match away from the team’s primary venue, when they head to the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio to face Houston on Saturday 24th January.
That’s the exception to the rule, though, and it’s not hard to see why Austin has chosen the H-E-B Center as their main base.
After all, it has plenty of pedigree when it comes to hosting high-profile sports teams, as the home of American Hockey League outfit the Texas Stars and NBA G League side the Austin Spurs.
A number of individual events have been held there too, from mixed martial arts to All American Wrestling. In fact, over 150 unique events take place there every year!
There’s certainly the capacity to accommodate significant crowds, with over 8,000 supporters able to pack into the state-of-the-art entertainment venue.
An electric atmosphere is sure to be in store when the 2026 LOVB Pro season commences, then, so make sure to head down and watch Madi in person if you’re based in the area.
Austin’s first game is against Nebraska on Wednesday 7th January, with their second home match shortly after on Sunday 11th January.
