Who are Austin’s opponents?
It’s a double dose of action for Austin over the coming days, as they head to Omaha for a Weekend with LOVB event.
First up for Madi’s team are the hosts Omaha, before a match against Atlanta the following day.
Where are the games being played?
Both of this weekend’s games are being held at the Baxter Arena in Nebraska.
The venue seats 7500 people and hosts the University of Nebraska’s hockey, basketball and volleyball teams.
What time does the action get under way?
Austin’s first match against Omaha starts at 7pm CDT this evening. Their second game against Atlanta then gets under way on Saturday at 4.30pm CDT.
There is also another match taking place during this Weekend with LOVB, with Omaha facing Houston at 7pm CDT on Saturday.
Opposition guide
Madi’s side will harbor hopes of getting back to winning ways against Omaha tonight.
The home team have struggled of late and sit rock-bottom of the standings, having lost their last seven outings.
That included a 3-1 defeat to Austin at the LOVB Classic last month, while they were also beaten by the Texans 3-0 in Gameweek 3.
Austin’s second game of the weekend could well be a tougher test, though.
Atlanta go into Gameweek 11 top of the pile, despite an inconsistent run that has seen them lose two of their previous four games.
Paulo Coco’s unit have three wins from three against Austin in 2025, so should have plenty of confidence going into Saturday’s match-up.
Anything else to know?
Austin have hit a difficult patch of late, suffering three defeats on the bounce after initially making a strong start to Chris McGown’s tenure as head coach.
The latest of those results was a 3-1 loss at Houston, which saw Madi post some impressive numbers despite the result.
Twenty-three kills, two blocks, 13 digs and an assist represented a commendable haul for the 23-year-old, but she will be hoping that her displays this weekend lead to more points for the team in Omaha.
