Who are the United States’ opponents?
Four matches are on the cards for the U.S. Women’s National Team over the coming days, with Thailand their first opponents of Week 3.
A clash with the Dominican Republic is next, before a North American derby against Canada. China are the final team the USA will face in this round of action.
Where are the games being played?
Erik Sullivan’s outfit get to enjoy the comforts of home for their third set of Nations League matches, with all four of their upcoming games taking place at the College Park Center in Arlington, Texas.
The 7,000-seat venue is perhaps best known as the home of the UT Arlington Mavericks basketball team, as well as being used by WNBA side the Dallas Wings.
However, it has also hosted everything from WWE wrestling events to concerts by Drake and Passion Pit since first opening in 2012.
Sports medicine and training facilities are housed underneath the venue, too, such is the state-of-the-art nature of this multi-purpose indoor arena.
What time do the matches get underway?
The United States have a largely consistent set of start times for all four of their games this week.
Things get underway at 5.30pm PDT on Wednesday 9th July against Thailand, before facing the Dominican Republic at the same time the following evening (Thursday 10th July).
The team then have a day off, before returning to action on Saturday 12th July to play Canada — again at 5.30pm PDT.
A final outing against China is scheduled for 5pm PDT on Sunday 13th July.
Opposition guide
The U.S. Women’s National Team begin Week 3 by facing a Thailand team who have won just once from eight attempts in the 2025 Women's Volleyball Nations League.
That triumph came against mid-table France in Week 1, though, so there will be no room for complacency — despite Thailand’s lowly position in the table.
However, the Dominican Republic are likely to present a tougher challenge. They’re only two points behind the United States, having emerged victorious from half of their games.
Canada’s form to date is somewhere between Madi’s first two opponents, with two wins leaving them in 15th — but it is China who look set to provide the biggest test in Texas.
With five wins from eight matches, Zhao Yong’s unit are well positioned to reach the final round in sixth, having put a commendable 15 points on the board so far.
Anything else to know?
The United States began to hit their stride in Week 2, after a difficult opening set of matches in Brazil.
Three victories in Serbia lifted Sullivan’s team into the top eight, with Madi playing a key role at the Belgrade Arena.
She registered an outstanding 32 points against the hosts, before going on to post another 13-point haul versus the Netherlands.
With home advantage in Week 3, the 24-year-old will be hoping to bolster her Nations League tally even further in Arlington.
