The 2026 LOVB Pro schedule has been announced, with Madi’s Austin side set to feature in the season’s opening match.
H-E-B Center at Cedar Park will host Gameweek 1’s curtain raiser, when LOVB Nebraska head to the defending champions on Thursday 8th January.
Nebraska is the new name of LOVB Omaha, of course — the team that Austin beat in the LOVB Finals title-decider back in April.
A rematch of that game is sure to be an enthralling affair, as will the Texans’ second encounter against Atlanta on Sunday 11th January.
Austin beat last year’s post-season No.1 seeds in the semi-finals, with Madi recording an impressive 25 kills in Louisville — so Atlanta will undoubtedly be out for revenge this time around.
Looking a little further ahead, Erik Sullivan’s team will play one ‘home’ match away from the H-E-B Center, to expand their reach outside of Austin itself.
That’s going to take place on Sunday 25th January against LOVB Houston, at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio.
Valentine’s Day then marks the start of the 2026 LOVB Classic, which is being held at the Municipal Arena in Kansas City. The matches will count as regular season games this time, though, rather than a standalone tournament.
Austin is scheduled to open that event, when they play Salt Lake on Saturday 14th February — another opponent from last term’s Finals.
Talking of the LOVB Finals, they’ll follow Austin’s last regular season game against Nebraska at the Baxter Arena in Omaha (Sunday 5th April). Venues are yet to be determined, but it will take place across two weekends that month.
