Madi receives U.S. Women’s National Team call-up
Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming 2025 Volleyball Nations League

Madi will be representing the U.S. Women’s National Team in Rio de Janeiro over the coming days, after she was added to their roster for Week 1 of the 2025 Volleyball Nations League (VNL).
The Volleyball Nations League brings together 18 of the world’s top sides, as they bid to secure the coveted VNL title.
Four matches per week will take place during three preliminary rounds across June and July, before the competition’s eight top teams progress to a final set of games.
And Madi could be traveling to a host of exciting locations if selected for every round, with the U.S. Women’s National Team’s various upcoming encounters taking place across the globe.
First up is a visit to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil for the first preliminary round (4th-8th June) — with the 23-year-old already confirmed as in the squad for Week 1.
Then, the action moves to Belgrade, Serbia (18th-22nd June), before a stateside return the following month — in Arlington, Texas from 9th-13th July.
If the U.S. team is successful in those matches then a trip to Łódź will be on the cards, with the Final Round pencilled in for 23rd-27th July in the Polish city.
The complete preliminary round schedule is as follows (all times PDT):

Week 2: Belgrade, Serbia

Week 3: Arlington, Texas
9th July (5.30pm) vs Thailand
10th July (5:30 pm) vs Dominican Republic
12th July (5.30pm) vs Canada
13th July (5pm) vs China
Madi will work with U.S. Women’s National Team Head Coach Erik Sullivan while on international duty — and into next season, too, of course, following the news that he will be taking charge of LOVB Austin in 2026.
