LOVB Austin have revealed their roster for the upcoming season — and Madi will once again be featuring for the Texans.
The 24-year-old enjoyed a campaign to remember in 2025, when she ranked inside the league’s top four players for points and kills, as well as being named MVP at the LOVB Finals.
Austin were triumphant during that post-season, of course, as Chris McGown’s side defied the odds to claim the competition’s inaugural title.
However, there will be a different Head Coach in the technical area for 2026, with U.S. Women’s National Team boss Erik Sullivan taking the reins.
Madi is already familiar with the 52-year-old’s methods from this summer’s Volleyball Nations League exploits, but it will be a new experience for some of her team-mates.
Fortunately for Sullivan, he is set to have plenty of top talent to work with when next term finally gets underway.
Founding athletes Logan Eggleston and Carli Lloyd remain with the team, while Middle Blockers Molly McCage and Asjia O’Neal are also due to return.
Kotoe Inoue, Zoe Jarvis, Leah Hardeman, Khat Bell and Juliann Faucette are staying in Austin, too, alongside a host of new additions to the roster.
Outside Hitter Madi Banks joins from LOVB Nebraska, as well as Poland international Magdalena Jurczyk and Canadian Setter Brie O’Reilly.
There’s even another Texas Longhorns connection, with Bella Bergmark joining from Madi’s former College team.
Excitement is certainly building, then, as Austin look to be building a side capable of challenging for honors once again in 2026!
